Drag and drop content builder

You can use the template builder to display any content type you wish on any page: category posts, tags, banners, team groups, testimonials, latest or featured post, widgets, even individual posts.

For each added element you can choose how to display your content: carousel, filter, load more button or pagination and sort the content by date, likes, number of views, etc. You can also choose your layout: full width or with sidebar and enable the mosaic, grid, thumbnail or list-view.

The template builder is also available for each post / page so you can add elements on your individual posts following the same rules as for pages… giving you unlimited possibilities and constructing your content.

One of the main things you’ll notice right away is how the logo and header shrink down when you scroll the page, which is a new jquery feature that I’ve noticed a couple of site designers introducing recently.  I like it and it adds a little bit of uniqueness to the theme’s design.  It’s the little things like that that I think really sell themes.  But once you browse the theme you’ll notice more details and how clean it looks.  And it’s just as nice in the WordPress admin.

The theme options panel is really nicely laid out and includes all the options one would expect from a premium theme. ThemeNectar has taken the extra time to create really easy to use shortcodes that even include adding icons in 3 different sizes to your posts or pages as well as all the columns, pricing tables one would expect to see.

So if you’re new to the term Responsive Design, all you really need to understand is that Responsive themes respond to the device they are being viewed on.  And by respond I mean they detect the resolution of the screen they are being viewed on and then they serve up a layout that fits that size screen accordingly.  As you can see by the screenshot above of Deepfocus on the iPad, the layout in the background shrinks down to fit the vertical layout of the iPad screen when flipped.  Then you can see how different the layout looks on the iPhone above that.  Pretty cool huh?

Of course if most of your website visitors are visiting your site from normal web browsers on their computers at home then really they won’t notice a difference in your sites layout.  Only when they go to view your site on their mobile device (iPad, iPhone, iPod, etc.) will they notice your site responding beautifully to their device.
